On February 9, 2021, Kodjo ADEDZE, Minister of Trade, Industry and Local Consumption, visited DIWA Industries in Blitta, in Togo’s Central Region. DIWA Industries, a subsidiary of the OSEO KAPI Group, specializes in the manufacturing and requalification of metal packaging as well as the production of special and inert gases.
The facility produces 500,000 gas cylinders annually and requalifies 1,200 cylinders per day for the local and regional markets. This project, valued at 7.5 billion FCFA, is set to create 180 permanent jobs.
The Minister praised this initiative, highlighting its alignment with Togo’s National Development Plan, particularly in terms of job creation and poverty reduction.
